The Tubextender is a smart adapter that lets you mount an Astera Titan Tube directly into existing fluorescent fixtures, giving you full control of the fixture placement. It ensures a clean, seamless installation without the need for zip ties, magnets, or baling wire. Designed to extend a 40-inch Titan Tube to 48 inches, it perfectly matches the length of a standard fluorescent fixture.

Description

To install Tubextenders, you will need a 4mm Allen wrench that is at least 3 inches in length.

Assembly Videos

  1. Simply insert the allen wrench through the hole on the end with the pins.
  2. Screw the Tubextenders onto the ends of the Titan tube.
  3. Make sure that the pins line up with the lens of the Astera tube.
  4. Install the tubes as you would any standard fluorescent tube. Making sure that the emitters are facing down.

Please note: ONLY INSTALL THE TUBES IN FIXTURES THAT ARE NOT ENERGIZED.
